I used to remove paintings after they were sold and at a workshop on marketing they said that was wrong. Sold paintings are examples of your work and also form a basis for commissions. No artist ever throws away a good composition. And at the same time a good artist should never duplicate a work. That defines you as a craftsman and not an artist.
